Rod Kamuf joined Alltrust Insurance as a Senior Benefits Consultant and Executive Vice President of the new Lutz, FL location in 2021. Rod brings over 20 years of experience in the group benefits industry, individual health insurance, and financial services. Rod is Tampa Bay local and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science focused on finance.
Mr. Kamuf’s collective mission is to provide superior service and educate consumers on all the aspects of Florida health insurance plans, including health, dental, life, vision, disability, and more.
As a Senior Benefits Consultant, Rod is responsible for evaluating employee and employer needs for health insurance, handling all financial aspects of group health plans, including renewal negotiations, plan design, contribution strategy, etc. Rod and his Team conduct on-site and virtual enrollment meetings; reviewing employee benefit packages with new hires; and providing ongoing educational meetings to employees with any benefit implementation, benefit changes, and enhancements. He also conducts annual reviews of employee benefit package options within and outside of the current carrier, and much more.
In his spare time, Rod enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Weekends are spent at sports games and enjoying the Florida outdoor weather as much as possible.
